THE RISE opened to homebuyers in October 2026, and the question we hear most since then is a simple one: what is it, really? What Is THE RISE?<\/b><\/h2>\n

THE RISE is a premium high-rise residential development by Ruchira Projects at Budigere Cross, with frontage on Old Madras Road in East Bengaluru. Designed as twin towers rising to 156 metres and linked by a luxury sky bridge, it is a landmark on the corridor’s skyline. Where It Stands: Budigere Cross, Right on Old Madras Road<\/b><\/h2>\n

Location is the one feature you can never renovate later, so it is where we started. THE RISE sits directly on Old Madras Road at Budigere Cross, the junction where the six-lane NH-75 meets the Budigere airport road. In daily terms, that frontage gives you an address that is easy to find and easy to reach. The airport road branching off the junction makes frequent flying far more practical, and the Whitefield IT belt sits roughly 15 to 20 km away. The metro is on its way too. The approved Blue Line is set to reach the KR Puram interchange, with passenger service expected from 2027, and a proposed Phase 4 extension along Old Madras Road includes a planned station at Budigere Cross. Today the corridor runs on road and air connectivity; rail is the next layer arriving.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The funded infrastructure deepens that advantage. The Peripheral Ring Road, backed by a fresh tender of around \u20b93,348 crore in early 2026, crosses Old Madras Road and should pull heavy traffic off the corridor; the Satellite Town Ring Road is stitching Hoskote and Budigere into the wider ring; and the Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway runs adjacent. And then there is liveability, quietly the corridor\u2019s trump card. The roads here are wider and the setting greener than the congested pockets of core Whitefield, with malls like Orion Uptown, established schools and hospitals already in place. Families are choosing calm-but-connected over the crush of the older IT zones.<\/span><\/p>\n

And the metro is now firmly on the corridor\u2019s map. The approved Blue Line, with trial runs slated to begin in late 2026 and passenger service expected from 2027, brings the network to the KR Puram interchange nearby, putting the corridor within one connection of the airport and the ORR IT belt. Beyond that, a proposed Phase 4 extension is planned to run elevated along Old Madras Road itself, with a Budigere Cross station named in the alignment.
